Selected Families and Individuals

Notes

Little Berry Sullivan

Went to the Sullivan Cemetery at Calamine Sunday. Met a distant cousin named Glenna Hooks and her husband Bob who took us to the old campgrounds and then on to the cemetery. We would have never found it, it was down a narrow road, over a hill, behind a cattle fence and on a hill out of sight from the old road. We saw Little Berry and Celia's graves, and those of all their offspring. How they found this remote place and homesteaded here is a mystery to me; there isn't even any water source close by. Nothing is left of Little Berry and Celia's house but what must have been the chimney.

William Spencer Sullivan Jr and Mary Adeline Puckett are buried in Bayou Meto Cemetery here in Jacksonville, it's only a couple of minutes from my house. I don't know where Otto was buried, didn't find him in either cemetery. I did find Lois, at the Calamine cemetery.

Stay in touch,
